  • Senior Pastor and Founder of Patristic Nectar

    Fr. Josiah Trenham is a respected Orthodox Christian priest, author, and cultural commentator known for his unwavering advocacy for the Christian vision of marriage and family life. A native of Southern California, he studied under leading Reformed theologians at Westminster Seminary California, earning his M.Div. in 1992. He was ordained to the Holy Priesthood in 1993 and later received his Ph.D. in Theology from the University of Durham, England, in 2004.

    Since 1998, Fr. Josiah has served as the Senior Pastor of St. Andrew Orthodox Church in Riverside, California. He is the founder and director of Patristic Nectar, a nonprofit dedicated to making the riches of the Church Fathers accessible through books, lectures, conferences, and digital media. His weekly sermons (The Arena) and theological lectures are available on the free Patristic Nectar mobile app, and his popular video series can be found on YouTube at Patristic Nectar Films.

    Fr. Josiah is the author of Marriage and Virginity According to St. John Chrysostom and Enduring Love: Laying Christian Foundations for Marriage and speaks internationally on the renewal of Christian family life. He and his wife, Presbytera Catherine, were married in 1988 and have been blessed with ten children and seven grandchildren.

    Archbishop Salvatore J. Cordileone has been a bold and faithful advocate for the sanctity of marriage, life, and religious liberty throughout his decades of service in the Catholic Church. Appointed by Pope Benedict XVI in 2012, he currently serves as the Metropolitan Archbishop of San Francisco.

    A native of San Diego, Archbishop Cordileone was ordained to the priesthood in 1982 and holds a doctorate in Canon Law from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. His ministry has included service in parish life, at the Vatican’s highest canonical court, and as Bishop of Oakland.

    Deeply committed to strengthening the institution of marriage, Archbishop Cordileone has been a national voice for the renewal of family life as the foundation of a flourishing society. In addition to his pastoral and theological work, he serves on numerous ecclesial boards and enjoys jazz, hiking, and baseball in his free time.

    Jonathan Pageau is a renowned Orthodox icon carver, writer, and cultural thinker known for his work on symbolism, art, and the deep patterns that shape human experience. Through his widely followed YouTube channel and podcast, The Symbolic World, he explores the intersection of faith, culture, and meaning, offering compelling insights into how ancient Christian wisdom speaks to modern life.

    A sought-after speaker and commentator, Jonathan engages audiences around the world on topics ranging from art and theology to marriage, masculinity, and the renewal of Christian culture. He is a husband and father and brings both personal experience and spiritual insight to the topic of marriage as a sacred cornerstone of civilization.

    Dr. Brad Wilcox is one of the nation’s leading voices on the importance of marriage and family for a thriving society. He serves as the Director of the National Marriage Project at the University of Virginia, Director of the Get Married Initiative at the Institute for Family Studies and is a senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute.

    Dr. Wilcox is the author of Get Married: Why Americans Should Defy the Elites, Forge Strong Families, and Save Civilization (HarperCollins, 2024), a groundbreaking call to revitalize marriage as a cornerstone of cultural renewal. His research focuses on marital quality, stability, and the impact of strong families on the well-being of men, women, and children.

    With six books to his name and articles in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Atlantic, Dr. Wilcox brings a compelling and data-driven perspective to the conversation on marriage. He lives in Charlottesville, Virginia with his wife and children.

    Dr. Gavin Ortlund is a pastor, author, and theologian, serving as President of Truth Unites, Theologian-in-Residence at Immanuel Nashville, and Visiting Professor at Phoenix Seminary. He holds a Ph.D. in historical theology from Fuller Seminary and is the author of nine books, including Why God Makes Sense in a World that Doesn’t and the award-winning What It Means to Be Protestant. Through his YouTube channel and public speaking, Dr. Ortlund offers a thoughtful, gospel-centered voice to both the church and broader culture. He and his wife Esther have five children.
